Children’s Laptops

Guidelines for Borrowing & Use

• Laptops are available for use in the Children’s Library for children in grades 6 and under
• Laptops may be used for a period of 30 minutes (or longer, at the discretion of staff)
• Users must comply with the Library’s Computer Use Policy
• A designated laptop for adults is available for use within the Children’s Library. User must be accompanied by a child.

Printing

• 10¢ per page- Black & White
• 50¢ per page- Color
• Users will be charged for each page that prints

Children’s iPads

Guidelines for Borrowing & Use

• iPads are available for use for children in grades 6 and under
• iPads are for use in the Children’s Library only, they cannot be taken home
• iPads may be used for a time period of 30 minutes (or longer, at the discretion of staff)

Fines & Liability

• $30 if the protective cover is lost or damaged
• The replacement cost for an iPad is $400
