Toy Chest Mondays
Mondays, 10:30am – 11:30am
Spend the morning playing with your toddler! We’ll bring out the toy chest. For children 6 months to 4 years old.
Circle Time and Toy Center
Fridays, 10:30 – 11:30
For children ages 6 months to 4 years of age. 15 minutes of songs, finger plays and stories, plus some play time for you to share with your child. Meet other parents and caregivers.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
This free program encourages you to read 1,000 books to your child before they enter kindergarten – a goal experts say children need to help them learn to read for themselves. Read three picture books a night and you will finish the program within a year! See a Children’s Librarian for more information.
100 Books Before 7th Grade
Finished with 1000 Books Before Kindergarten or looking to take on a new challenge? Join our new reading program for independent readers! For children in Kindergarten to 6th grade. See a Children’s librarian for more information.
Registration for September/October programs begin August 26. Call or stop in to the Children’s Library to register for events.
Photographs and video footage taken during programs may be used for library publicity. Please tell library staff if you do not want a photo taken of you or your child.
123 Play with Me
Tuesdays, September 10, 17, 24, October 1 & 8 at 10am
Join us for this 5-week program that encourages one-on-one play time with your child. Local professionals will join us to discuss topics such as early child development, speech and language, nutrition and more. Register in advance for all 5 weeks; space is limited. For children who are 1, 2 and 3 years old.
Library Open House
Sunday, September 22 from 2pm-4pm
Spend the afternoon at the library! Join us for a craft and enter to win a raffle prize.
Just Bring the Baby Book Club
Monday, September 23 at 6:30pm
Add some more adult time to your week! Join librarians, Stephanie & Nicolette, to discuss “A Man Called Ove” by Frederik Backman and other current reads. Toys will be available for your little ones to play with while we chat. Please check out the book and register before our meeting. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a storytime and a delicious treat! We will be making choco-banana. May contain allergens. Please register in advance, space is limited. Geared towards children 4 years old to 2nd grade, but all are welcome to attend.
Parachute Under the Sun

This fun storytime will include songs and rhymes using the parachute! Please register in advance, space is limited. This program is weather-permitting. For children 18 months to 3 years old.
