Make-It & Take-It
Saturdays, November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & December 6, 13, 20, 27, 12:00 - 4:00
We’re cleaning out our craft closet! Stop in at the Children’s Library any time between 12:00 and 4:00 to make a fun and creative do-it-yourself craft. No registration required. Young children will need an adult’s assistance. For grades K-6.
Once-Upon-a-Time Stories
Thursdays, November 6, 13, & 20, 7:00
Children are invited to the library for an evening of favorite fairy tales. A simple craft will take place after the stories. For ages 4-8 with a caregiver. Register in advance.
Computers for Kids: Researching the Web
Saturday, November 15, 11:00
Grades 4-6. Join us to learn fast and fun Internet research skills using hands-on activities. Registration required.
Movie: WALL-E
Saturday, November 22, 2:00
Rated G. Meet WALL-E, a small waste collecting robot who inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind. Movies are shown at the Adult Library. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Thanksgiving Craft

Celebrate the season by making a special Thanksgiving craft at the library. Please register in advance.
Chessnuts
Wednesdays, December 3 & 10, 7:00
Join the Long Island Chessnuts for a lesson in chess and take part in a mini-tournament. This program is free but you must register in advance. Grades 3-6.
Movie: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Rated PG. The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia to join in combat against an evil villain who prevents the rightful prince from ruling the land. Movies are shown at the Adult Library. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Come listen to a gingerbread story and decorate a delicious gingerbread boy or girl! Registration required. NOTE: This program includes food.
