Welcome
to the Westbury
Memorial Public Library,
a community resource located in central Nassau County,
Long Island, New York
..you
can access the Online Public Access Catalog called ALISCAT.
It shows the holdings of the member libraries of the Nassau
Library System, including Westbury. You can search for items
by Author, Title, Subject, or Keyword. Renew and request certain
titles online with your Westbury Library card!
..find online databases and FYI links by following the Research Assistant.
..the
library has more than 3,000 DVD's. Many may be borrowed for 2
days, free.
..the
Westbury Library has a Video Magnifier with
a 20 inch screen that can magnify up to 60 times - to read a
newspaper, sign a check, look at a photograph.
..if
you live in Westbury Union Free School District #1, or the Carle
Place Library District (2008), you can get a Westbury Library Card. The only thing you have to do is
come in and fill out an application and show a current proof of
residency (NYS driver's license, utility bill, lease in your name
and showing your current address as being in the Library's service
area) to apply for your library card.
